Voix des Prisonniers is a non-profit and non-governmental association established in France, subject to the law dated 1 July 1901 and the decree dated 16 August 1901.

The VOIX DES PRISONNIERS association aims to:

– Defend arbitrarily detainees and prisoners in countries where human rights are not respected

– Provide support and legal assistance to refugees and families of detainees, arbitrarily prisoners, and the disappeared.

– Help and promote the empowerment and ability to act of women from the families of those detained or disappeared, as well as the creation by them of a support group and the defense of their cause before the media, international organizations, diplomatic and political figures, and the decision-makers concerned.

– Raise public awareness of the issue of kidnappings and forced disappearances of people and the issue of arbitrary detentions, through all means of communication.

– Conduct surveys and scientific research on human rights, monitor developments in this area, and announce them to the public.
